The building "The Whale" is a hybrid situated in the center of Warsaw on the railway track. It is its train halt but it also comprises the urban and housing functions. It can meet needs of the hybrid`s dwellers. It also functions as a year-long "green" city park, housing different public functions. A high-rise building ( in the inspiration " a tail"/ a gate for a train) contains a complex of offices and flats/apartments. The part located longitudinally over the railway track fulfills commercial functions over which a city park with multi-functional sports fields for practicing football, basketball, volleyball and tennis spreads. This area is united with the lower floors vertically inside the round "bulbs" in which different restaurants are located. The coat of the first of four, from the center side, bulbs is wreathed by water acting as fountains. It results from an inspiration from the whale. The total structure is additionally and internally connected with a local railway transporting its dwellers and its guests.
The culmination of the construction is a cube commonly called "The Head" by its dwellers. The Head is a personification of a building with its own voice ( the building communicates with its guests using its sound, its displays and its indicators), and also it comprises the functions satisfying different spheres of human life. It possesses libraries, exhibition halls, courtrooms, multi-media graves of distinguished people ( those who visit this place can become acquainted interactively with the biographies of those who passed away). At the top of this designed construction there is a church. The church is suspended in the park, among verdure. The transparent cover of the structure enables the most pleasant masses celebrated there - at sunrise and at sunset and under the starry sky.
